Les Senteurs du Souk

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, I launched a new product collaboration with my friend Neil Bardon, the amazingly talented eyewear designer and parfumier behind the internationally-acclaimed brand Saint Rita Parlor.

This was born out of my love of fragrance, which, like food, can transport you to a different place and time.

Les Senteurs du Souk — the scents of the souk — is an invitation to the enchanting and nostalgic scents of my childhood strolling through the market: the exotic spice shops, the leather traders, the abundance of citrus, freshly-picked and freshly-squeezed, the sweet smell of hookah and pipe tobacco of impeccably-dressed mustachioed men, and the burning of bakhoor to ward off evil spirits.

This exclusive unisex parfum is comprised of over a dozen finest quality, rare, and organic essential oils.

The leading fragrances are freshly-cut wood (oud, sandalwood), tobacco (vanilla, nutmeg), citrus blossom (neroli, bergamot, lemon), and leather (vetiver, tonka bean).
